The Rossignol S3 Koopman skis give you the goods to launch into that realm where the blue of the sky meets the white of the freshly fallen snow. 98mm waist and reverse camber offers dreamy floatation in deep snow, and versatile ski design makes your sessions jibbing easy and fun. Wood core creates a light and lively ski with excellent ski-to-snow feel and high durability. Weight Reduction System aligns core fibers with the ski's sidecut shape, placing more fibers underfoot and fewer in the tip and tail. Fewer fibers in the tip and tail significantly reduces the weight, improving balance, rotation and swing weight. Greater fiber concentration underfoot improves stability for more snap on takeoffs and landings. Mini Rossitop cap construction strengthens the top of the ski-a real plus when hard landings lie ahead. Soft flexing tips and tails and stiff mid section improve balance and provide spring for mounting rails and hopping atop half-pipes. Amptech combines an early rise in the tip and tail and standard camber underfoot resulting in unsurpassed flotation in deep powder and responsive grip on hardpack. Reverse sidecut at the tip and tail enhances deep-snow performance; standard sidecut underfoot helps you navigate back to the lift. Visco elastomer in the tip and tails absorbs shocks and resists excessive flexing, and a visco rubber layer between sidewall and edge damps hard landings. ABS sidewalls are angled 30deg to improve swing weight, reduce overall weight and enhance edging and durability. Twin-tip tail lets you land switch and ride fakie.
