Built on the wide Xplorer chassis, the Interceptor offers athletic skiers a chance to cruise all over the mountain with a high-performance, all-around design. These skis work well if you're sticking to the groomed runs, but they are ideal if you find yourself switching between groomed runs and off-piste terrain. Fir/aspen wood core is inherently strong and durable, and it produces a smooth, natural flex. Torsion box design utilizes a Triaxial-braided wood core to create a high degree of rebound and performance. Triaxial braiding wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the wood core providing torsional stiffness, responsive turning and high sensitivity. Cap construction envelops the wood core and internal materials with the top layer of the ski, keeping overall weight light and durability high. MOD technology features an elastomeric secondary core which works as a high-performance suspension and damping system. MOD technology doesn't affect flex, allowing the skis to bend freely while absorbing vibrations and increasing power, forgiveness and performance. MOD Monic mass damping technology reduces unwanted vibrations at their source through the addition of embedded zinc in the secondary core. Marker M2 11.0 TC integrated binding features a floating toe and fixed heel to generate excellent power, precision and quickness. Integrated binding systems allow the skis to flex naturally and fully from tip to tail for smooth turn initiation, hold and release. Binding features DIN 3 - 11 release settings. Ideally suited for 60% ungroomed and 40% groomed skiing.
